almost all the 16.5 soles I've seen in person have been dingy or yellowing, perhaps due to people holding them with their hands or trying them on... not agood sign for a brand new release.

I'm actually starting to hate clear soles because they begin to look like pee after a while...

And these have blow-molded Air in the heel, and Zoom up front... not a bad cushioning set up, but certainly not full-length Zoom either.

Some people are so caught up in the fact that they're a team shoe that they blind themselves from the fact that it's a beautiful looking shoe. On top of that, they're extremely comfortable and don't feel cheap like some of the past team shoes to come out.

I agree with your sentiments. I think this shoe could have replaced the XVI or the XVII and I would have been happy.....especially the XVII.
