So glad I copped. Wa a bit iffy about the patent leather but man ok feet these exceeds my expectations. About to head out and scoop a second pair.

Got these through the DTLR raffle.
I like these a lot. I always liked them back in 07., but just never got to get them. Maybe it’s my age, but do anyone here just isn’t feeling the same excitement of getting shoes anymore? Like, it’s a “blah” type of feel?
May be b/c recent retros, despite not being perfect, have been the best we've seen in decades, and tons of OG colorways as well. I'm feeling pretty satisfied with my collection at the moment and even offloading more than I just don't wear even when they're super sweet (ex. PSG 4s, which are great quality and look amazing).
All I'm looking forward to are the WC4s. And, realistically, I'll be happy to have them back in rotation, but I doubt they'll give me any super amazing feeling as I have so many amazing sneakers to choose from each day.

Most likely will do the same with Black Metallic 5s next month as well.
Only gripe is the laces but nostalgia for the shoe is still there from 2007.

Basically resellers hoarding these on the off chance that they shoot up like the Black Cat 4s did in 2020.
Only explanation for why these are sitting in stores, but instantly sold out on Snkrs, FTL, JD, FNL like a botted 2020 release.
