These 6's and 7's are all b grade pairs. Just in case anyone speculates. I called earlier and asked.

Also, the shoes have yellowing on the bottom soles. Minor though

Keep up the work, guys. I'm stuck in a meeting at work, so I can't really update throughout the day.

Crowd-sourced knowledge though. Keep at it, guys.

Yeah, first off all, this is neither the time nor place for that discussion.

But, there need not be any discussion at all, so I'll end it anyway.

"B-grade" is a term with a specific meaning. Contrary to what so many of you free posters like to believe, words have actual meanings. "B-grades" relate to pairs that were pulled by the company's QC inspectors post-production, or "on the line" so to speak. General practice is that X number of shoes before and after the offending shoes (what that X is is subject of debate) are pulled for precautionary reasons. That's why most b-grades aren't really b-grades at all.

Early release sites are MOST LIKELY factory workers producing shoes with stolen molds without Nike's consent or knowledge. ...I give you the tech, and ask you to produce 20,000 pairs at your factory. You give me that order, but then procure your own (similar materials) and produce extra "on the side." ...That's why they are fakes. They can be made by the same people, with identical materials, in the same factory, with the same mold - but they are not sanctioned by the company.

There are actually really deep questions about the abstract concept of branding and philosophical authenticity vs. structural authenticity here. You could write a thesis on that citing the thoughts of some of the most influential sociologists and philosopher's throughout history - especially the neo-Marxists. But, I'm not sure this is the best place to have that convo either.

can we move on now?

I didn't expect what I posted to lead onto a small debate. Just passing along some information. I called to cop, but decided to ask if they were b-grade out of speculation. Lady confirmed they were, with some yellowing on the bottoms, but that's all the information she had about the pairs. Just figured I'd pass along some helpful information before some decided to make a purchase, only to find out later that they aren't labeled the same grade as a GR. my bad

if the yellowing is to bad when i get my shoes in from pleasant prarie then ill just return them to the outlet by my house

Good work...lucky me I already have the VIs and hate the VIIs...

REPPED!

Ordered a pair from Pleasant Prairie.. according to the woman i spoke with there was a small indent on the back of the shoe and a few glue stains.. small price to pay for a pair of kicks i've wanted for years.. i'll upload pics when they arrive

Monroe Factory said they have 8, 9.5, and 10 but no phone orders and they won't put them on hold. Portland Factory says they have a few pairs but not doing phone orders.

Good looking out!!!! I don't need them but it's good to see info for others get posted on NT!

My buddy got a pair of oly 6 from aurora....Looked like it was Edward Scissorhands first day at the Nike factory.

I'm like, WHY would you buy these??
