Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

I can't like, in the early 2000's in my younger years I absolutely wanted things because they were limited. That was definitely a real thing right here on NT and still is. 🤷‍♂️

But you dont promote as a way of life either.

Ain’t nothing to “promote” here bro lmao it’s literally universal human nature to appreciate things that are rare/unique/uncommon and difficult to attain. So let Nike/JB keep making their drops as exclusive as they want because it’s really not that serious. Everybody here got at least like 3X as many shoes as the average person anyway so what exactly is the problem lmao

Are we starting to accept that this will be a very expensive shoe on the aftermarket?
I paid $650 for the New Beginnings Pack back in October, resell is cooked right now.

I suspect they'll settle around $300 if truly limited. $250 + another $30 in shipping/tax is going to take a toll on the avg buyer and lets not forget the general public thinks the leather looks like garbage too.

$300 for a limited Banned 1?

I have a hard time seeing that.

…but I would be thrilled to be wrong.

Don’t understand why they did that to the ankle collar. I know MJ had some PEs that were lower cut, but that looks off to me.

they really aren’t. I hated the toe box on em. Main reason I offed em in 2019. Probably would have got way more a year later but I was tired of looking at them. My two pairs of 2011 banneds still seem way better even if they’re mids

You lost when when you said the 2011 was better. 🤣🤣🤣

That gimmick banned shape is actually horrendous. And the leather quality is pointless. The OG High shape was praised until we started to get 85s.
