Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

Not a GR release. SP wont get them. Stock is around 23,000 according to my trusted sources (who works for Nike). Gonna be Ls everywhere
20k sounds more believable than 4 digit number. Anything under 10k pairs is a crime. Might as well be F&F

Sorry to tell ya my man, but you're wrong.

Only a very small number of places in North America will have these (I'm sure many can guess the number).

23 wholesale accounts.

I said..... :nerd:

And only 2 of them are here in Canada.

Shattered Backboards are gonna be like this.

And the UnC reimagineds.

And the Chicago lows.

And the Undefeated 4s.

And the Blackcat 4s.

If we’re lucky, they’ll make 50,000 pairs of the White Cements.

A few of those will be. Jordan Brand couldn't help themselves. Them (along with Nike) had to go back to pre-pandemic bullcrap to generate buzz again. And like usual, pushing the red button to Complex for 24/7 marketing and coverage like it's Election Night.

Just gonna wait for whenever they decide to release the regular pair or whatever they’re called, the ones they been releasing before this 85 ish.

To me, this pair specifically is like a die hard collector’s item. If I had them, I probably would never wear them so good luck to everyone who wants them and I hope everyone who truly wants them is able to get a pair with ease.

This is weak sauce smh

And this is the main reason why I sold the vast majority of my collection. The hobby just isn't fun anymore. When you want to give a company your hard-earned $$$, you should have to jump through freaking hoops to get what you want. And now these being crazy limited, yeah, I'll try on SNKRS but that will be a fail, so I'm done when I get that L.

Guess I'll just keep wearing my 2001 pair (or I'll do a custom paint job on a pair of OG highs since I got all the right colors of paint). And Nike wonders why they keep losing sales, market share, and revenue is down! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Doesn't take much to realize it's your own decisions. Make these plentiful (like the Concord XIs) and everyone would have gone after them. Make them stupid limited, and no one gives a crap because they all know the inevitable. Dumb decisions all around.

What an odd decision. A massive release of a high-quality, iconic model/cw would put JB back to the front of America's sneaker consciousness (i.e. 2011 Concord). Legend Blues ain't gonna do that...

I’m just baffled by the money they put into advertising. But I guess they’re aiming for the hype to trickle down to the rest of their line.

I bout dgaf atp. It is what it is. Feeling blessed to have copped the 85 metallic burgundys for 120.
