Have those people ever mentioned anything about the SKRS app to you by chance? Like it is truly random, what is the criteria it looks for, is it really botted as bad as folks say? Etc.

Between these and the 993 jjjjounds fiasco, I'm starting to become more at peace with not buying any expensive shoes for the time being.
Hopefully these soulless, cow milking corporate turd machines have created plenty of loyalty among the younger crowd who've never known anything other than the hellish hype era we've been living in for the last several years.

I don't get the Jordan Brand business logic on this one. Can anyone remember the last time there was a commercial for a Jordan Brand RETRO shoe? I can't remember one at the moment and if it was, it had to have been a while ago. Moving on, if they put out the capital to have commercials for this shoe, then announce only 23 stores are getting them that doesn't make any sense. You could have used social media, and the other usual resources to reach the same amount of people that have been using for the last several years. A commercial wasn't necessary to have only 23 stores getting these.
Going back to the Christmas Day timeframe of this thread, folks were saying if they are doing commercials for these, they are going to be widely available, even at the $250 ticket price.

Agree 100%, the same clowns who defend this insipid $250 are the same clowns who defend the insipid price on the Jordan 17's. Then, here come the economic majors with their calculators talking inflation. Give me a small break.

What makes the whole situation even more corny......they delayed black toes till the day after....since they knew they'd brick hard. Now hoping they'll move em due to people striking out and wanting something OG. Stuff like this makes me not even wanna support the brand for a while. To the naked eye, without knowing the ins and outs of what was modified/updated is it really going to make a difference when you wear em?
So much so that if you can cop at retail will you go through the hoops of trying st one of the 23 locations? Or if not pay the $900+ they’ll go for?
They’re not reinventing the wheel with this shoe. Yeah it’s legit a 1:1 replica of the ‘85 one but is it all that honestly?
I’m just saying as I’ve gotten older I’ve prioritized my peace over shoes. Especially when i have a the same shoe in my closet.
And i hope they at least give you a replica ‘85 box or something close to it or something special like they did with L&Fs.
