Jordan Retro 1 High “Laser” aka Custom Lasers Thread

Mine finally came in today, both the nikestore and the kixsquare pairs.

Below are comparison shots. In all shots the KS pairs are on the left. the production dates on the are 9/10/2014-10/27/2014 for the kixsquare and 9/10/2014-10/24/2014 for the ndc pair.

Out side of a VERY slight bit more yellowing to the NDC pair they are virtually identical, other than the pattern of the laser etching.

@MrGhostMemphis  great comparisons. If you don't mind, can you provide close up comparisons of the lace bags? I have a pair from Sobesole (Sept-Oct prod. dates) and one from FA (Sept-Nov) production dates. From all the research I've done, it looks to me that the way the laces are tied up in the bag are different for each production period. That or it's just coincidence.

They are packed different, I undid the lace bag from the NDC pair as I tried them on.

Interesting that the KS and SS pairs, from what I have seen, have the extra laces tied up differently.

Soooo, uhh... anyone else come across pairs where the "leather" is peeling along the edge of laser print?  It took me 3 pairs of Laser 1s to find one that didn't have some sort of peeling along the edge of the laser print in at least one location.

Just got my XX Lasers in today.  Nothing as bad as the 1, but there are some areas of laser print (etched?) on the toebox that has a lot more texture when touching (ie - not smooth), and after looking closer, I noticed the peeling again.

Still love the kicks, both of them, just hope this doesn't become a bigger issue further on down the road.

Yep, had the same issues with a few pairs of laser 1s. Took me a couple tries to get a pair without any peeling.

I feel ya. The gray laces add some more color. The last 3 pair I copped were all white... Im ready to switch it up myself

Wore mine to the bar last night, very comfortable. I'm hoping to accelerate the yellowing on these. Can the resident PSers give me a rendering with pissy yellow soles?

I only tried mine one.... then the other day I re-tried em on for like 30 secs. im just not ready to wear them. the soles are flawless

i noticed this in the pair posted above. Anyone else getting indentations by the front left toe? When worn, it looks like a quarter sized dent in the shoe. Considering exchanging them at sheikh but I wore them in house (slightly creased toes, flawless soles). Or maybe ill just rock em

Mine had that when I took em out of the box, but got no worse after wearing them....
