See what happened was last year specifically at the start of the summer people was going crazy over the 2015 Chicago 1 getting remastered using the new mold. People were still drooling from frags and talking about them like the second coming of Jesus. The lasers and dsms were poor consolation prizes compared to frags for Jordan 1 heads but if any release could take their salty minds off of frags was a good ole dose of some OG goodness.
The Chicago 1s were it. SNKRS app was still new so the thread was live. Nike was making ppl do the draw but before that they had this system in place where if you won you had to go to your local niketown to pick up your shoe so everybody was wired about winning raffles and bot talk was prevalent.
After the confusing and convoluted release of the chicagos, the next remastered high Nike Air Jordan 1 release was the SBB 1 release. They popped up as a new cw but they had an interesting backstory and the most important detail: the LIMITED treatment. All reviews raved about the quality and thickness and plushness of the leather. Orange parts, sail and black parts were all "good" no parts were bad. Plus it was still summer time and folks was tryna stunt. People who missed on chicagos were gunning for em. Resellers who missed on Fragment and Chicago money weren't gonna let it happen again. Cigar and champagne 7s releasing G around the same time were weak af compared to the 2014 cigar and champagne 6s. These were all reasons why the 2015 SBBs were so legendary. The leather and limitedness were the biggest contributors to their long lasting impression on us and why these alternates might get so much extra hype

Sail, which is off white, is listed in the color description, so I assume it's there. Might be the picture/lighting.

So glad we didn't have to go through the early/ua/gm phase for these. Legit retail pairs are the only pics we've got so there's no confusion about what they will look like. I expect fakes to be out way after rd
