I preordered top 3s and other shoes. I wanted to meet up for banned and rsbb which were in stock.
At this point, you and I can meet up cause you caping really hard for a company you say you don't have no vested interest in and youre getting real disrespectful.
Got mine in a week. RSBBsHaven't only 2 NTers received shoes since flood gates opened though?
How I feelthis thread reminds me of the unauthorized/grey market thread from a while back.
Been lurking this subject for a while and decided to go ahead and join. The whole situation with kdak doesn't sit right with me and so I would just like to share some thoughts that I have based on what I have seen on the topic.
IMO the site is VERY suspect. A NT member finds a listing via CL and places a $200 preorder with Kdak. Naturally it prompts other members to inquire and WL points them in the direction of Kdak to help out. Site gets blown up, a few people get pairs of RSBB in and post pics, and business for the site explodes.
Correct me if I am wrong, but to date only a handful of members received shoes from Kdak, and those that received shoes have only received RSBB. Nothing else has been delivered and posted out of all of the different shoes that were purchased. Is this correct? If so, is it not conceivable that this site that several members were initially skeptical about potentially a scam of some sort?
One of the main questions was "how can kdak provide certain shoes at lower than usual prices and be legit". Another question is "how are they able to get a lot of previously released shoes and restock numerous times"? Finally, "how can they constantly restock and guarantee shoes on pre order"
Think about this, if you have the right connections it is not difficult to purchase a handful of RSBB on release day at retail with actual receipts and post them to your website and sell for a price below average resell prices to lure customers in. Drive hype through a popular forum where all signs point to one person to have an affiliation. That same handful posts their pick ups which would seem to prove that the site is legit. As a result more shoes come up for sale and quickly sell out.
Now to WL. Currently he is the one person that has consistently promoted the site, defended it, has had the most communication with them, and makes definitive statements on their behalf. This led me to go back and see some of the things that have been posted in the past by him in other threads. There have been numerous posts about his interest in buying UA pairs of certain releases to check in hand to compare to retail and on one occasion states "I know of one website in China RIGHT NOW that sells Bred 1s that are 99.9% identical to retail pairs. So close that nobody I've shown them to can even tell any difference".
With that in mind to me it makes sense that the only way to answer the questions above is to fill those orders with extremely accurate UA pairs. Typically they are less expensive than retail pairs if you have the right connections as it seems he does, which would make selling this shoes at the prices listed on the site very profitable. Other posts show his tactics to get as many retail pairs as possible such as entering raffles, lining up for unclaimed pairs, and even lying to associates that he has to be at his son's party and can't wait.
IMO Whiplash is Kdak and the majority of the shoes being sold are UA pairs mixed in with some authentic pairs.
"FIGHT ME FOR A TRACKING NUMBER B"Cats offering to meet up and scrap over this WB fiasco
RUUUUH ROOOHHH! yall got whiplash mad.
i like how it says cancelling is unfair for the next buyer like as if people are cancelling for no reason. peeps r cancelling cause the supposed single person running the site and doing shipping didnt have enough brains to realize taking hundreds of orders + guaranteeing ship dates + 1 guy shipping those hundreds of orders = NOT GONNA WORK OUT.
and on top of being super backed up, they gonna KEEP restocking and taking more orders? ISH FOR BRAINS.
dont lash out at your customers cause you f-ed up and theyre fed up. thats comical.

Nice attempt to piece information together to come to your perceived conclusion. As they say, one's perception is one's reality...

exactly.. not sure why the others are so nervous.Well I plan on picking up a few pairs of black toes from actual retailers so I'll compare to westbay's pairs with a magnifying glass.. And if they're not to my liking, Paypal cases will be opened...
Only reason I'm not worrying is cause payment was made thru PayPal and the money can easily be recouped.
Just a waiting game now
Not to get involved but they ain't "slanging fakes" I have a legit pair from them LC'd thoroughly. In our pm and in your posts, you said they do meet ups.
Why would I place and order thru PayPal to meet up? They could've easily placed the shoes aside and I could have copped on sight in cash or thru PayPal.
Since you're their social media rep, you can't tell a forum they meet in person and then do a 180.
Lastly, they will cancel because kdak is slanging fakes.
