If you look at an OG pair of infrared 6s, notice how the heel has a “leather” look to it that contrasts the rest of the shoe.

If they are reimagined, watch Jordan Brand release the version from the 1991 Finals where the Bulls medical staff tore the front of the toebox so they could stuff more padding in the shoe due to MJ’s toe injury. 
I can’t remember what game it was, but it didn’t last long. I think he wore them for a few minutes before changing into a fresh pair.

I’ll be in for a pair if they are the same as 19s or slightly better just so I have a pair to wear when my 19s are fully beat. If they are worse

Contrast heel advocate #1 reporting for duty! We may not be many but we will be vocal!

I truly never knew there were material differences with these after all this time.
I had the original 1991 version. I passed on the retro versions that came out after 1991. It wasn't until 2019 when I ended getting them again. I'm sure as hell glad I passed on the crappy 2010 & 2014 versions!
