It is studied and medically recommended that we wear shoes to have a thumb width of space between our longest toe and front end of the shoe. That space is to provide the needed room for recommended bend and toe splay; which is important for optimal foot health. Achieving the best fit can vary with sizes depending on the design, functionality, silhouette, etc. Basically, saying that a shoe size is NOT the same fit across the board. The most important factor to remember is different sizes not only change in length, but also change in width - which width is important for toe splay.
So when looking for the best fitting shoes to guarantee optimal foot health, you're more likely to find yourself with a collection of different sizes to achieve both bend and splay. But if you don't care to have healthy feet, I guess just stick to that one size where there's no toe room and your toes is touching the front tip of the shoe. Bron does it I guess - and he's the GOAT
