I'm am not asking for them to be the same height as the mids.

And Jordan original pair was higher cut than all of them. This pair isn't close to his.

The back portion of the PL is slightly lower , but the front is basically the same cut.

I didn't buy retros for 8 years due to poor craftsmanship. They finally getting some things right and y'all still complaining. If you guys bought any pairs of jays between 2008-2016 you should just take what you can get at this point.

I mentioned the OG pairs MJ wore because you mentioned them....

The lows always had a lower cut than the hi top version. I was there...

The hi top version incorporated the low cut patent leather and wasnt fixed until recently ... the lows on the other hand actually look very very close to the OG low...

I don't think they look exactly the same.

There are difference with the cut of the collar, the patent height, and the length of the toe box compared to the 2001 retros. All things I wished they would improve on.

You are doing this weird thing people on NT like to do when someone says they dislike something they like. They act like the are being crazy unreasonable, complain about them complaining, all to what it seems like an effort to feel validated in your potential purchase.

They didn't get this right IMO. You disagree, fine. This is good enough for you, fine.

Spend your money on what you want. I don't think this is worth my money. I got plenty of other shoes I can spend it on this year.

And nobody has to stop complaining for your sake. It is a damn sneaker forum after all.

Huge fan of xi lows since 01. Still have red and Carolinas in great shape. Also have cements and diffused blues from recent and love quality on both. Can’t wait for these. Love them. I’m gettin old and it’s just easier for this old man to pull off lows.

The newer retro low 11 definitely have a lower Patent Leather.

Honestly almost give them a GS size vibe lol

The Breds will be a cop. I have tried for a few years to purchase the previous release of these but wasn't willing to pay whatever peeps were asking.
