The info that a black/red 12 (regardless of exact color way) was coming out was from a sneaker media account. It wasn’t from Nike.

Next year would mark 9 years for the Flu Games so a retro sounds about right to me but I feel JB shoulda focused on releasing the Taxi's first since the last retro wasn't since 2013.
