I also just wish they would get the shade of red right. It's a dull red......not all this bright red colors they be giving us.

Wasn’t that 2003? Last pair of Flu’s I had. Separated on me around 2013 and I didn’t have the know how (still don’t) to get them reglued so I sold them.

Wore them to the gym today. These are beat but they are stupid comfortable and perfectly broken in. These get tons of wear. Jumpman tab finally starting to fade up. Can't wait for the next to release.

Yep, I had the 03 Black/red’s when they first came out 10/25/03 in my 11th grade year. They were very easy to get too since it appeared it wasn’t much hype for them. The biggest hype was for the black/carolina-blue pair with the hat and hoodie for $200. As far as comfort, YES, these were extremely responsive as far as FLZ is concerned. I was pretty blown away when I wore them to school that following Monday after release. It was almost like heaven on feet. It was so comfortable that I wore them again the next day lol. The OG pair is comfortable too, but due to the padding and the thick leather used, it’s a bit on the stiff side. I still haven’t wore them, yet. The 2016 retro is okay, but the zoom isn’t as responsive. Not sure if they made the FLZ a tad bit thinner compared to the 03 retro.I wish I never sold my 04s.. Sad that they’ve ruined the 12. Current 12s are comparable to CDP 4s. They’re that bad.

The 13s are also ruined, one of my favorite models. 05 was the last retro I have breds and flints. 2010 playoff were the last best shape before it took a s***.

They started doing that stupid thing where the toecap on the front sole of 13s is all wavy. That thing used to go across the toe in a straight line. I wanna know who decides these goofball changes in shape and build of the shoes.

I had bought those black Carolina blue 12s on ebay when i was in high school (sophomore year 2007) . Also had the melo 1.5 and 5.5 black blue, with the black blue melo jersey I was put on a watch list for potentially being a gang banger, for wearing gang colors. Smh ish was wild.
