Here's confirmation with these posts that the XVII Lows coming out in 2024 will come with a metal briefcase. Basically justification to jack up prices.

Not that I agree still with the price but the 17s are not as simple of a shoe to produce as an Air Jordan 1 for example. Throw in the suitcase and inflation and I’m not really shocked by the $300 price tag. I do think $250, maybeeeeee $275 but $300? Sheesh man. They ain’t getting away with that for anything after the Air Jordan 23

Want these, but if it's gonna be the same issues as the Lightnings then I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Def not paying $600 for them (current resale price for Lightnings in my size).
