Didn't get that one at all. Had that conversation with JDC during the match. He was saying no way Ogogo should lose there. I said I agree BUT, Cody is wrestling as the American Dream for one night only, and they're playing up the UK vs US thing pretty big going into Memorial Day weekend. It was probably my biggest gripe with the PPV.

I don’t think Cody realizes he was unintentionally a heel. He cut that apparent maga rah rah USA promo and was dressed like Homelander. That type of stuff is great in 1988 or 2001, but in 2021, “patriotism” is just coded language and actions
