So this was my 1st time going to the casino and playing. I play at peoples cribs all the time and Im pretty good at Poker online/house games... But I played Texas Hold 'Em... Bonus!
& the only person you play is the dealer!! Was 10x easier that worrying about putting on your poker face. me and my boys was showing each other our hands. dealer was looking at our hands and everything!!

I NEVER KNEW THIS GAME EXIST!!

cant be a trap when I REFUSE... to ever take more than $40 in and I would have to drive 30 minutes back home to get my debit/credit/cash... I play scared. as soon as i make double i put my 40 in my pocket and didn't take it out until i cashed out.

round my way that game is called texas shootout and it has pretty bad house odds

take your money and never play again
 
congrats OP, i dont think there is anything wrong with playing, if your like me, take only the cash you dont mind playing and possibly loosing. Leave everything else at the crib, take nothing but your license and some cash and you will be fine.

this is def true. I had a talk with my buddy the other day about it (play poker/casino games/sports bet all the time) and we decided it hurts 3x worse when you lose than when you win.

That's smart. I almost never hear of people taking precautions like that. Just dont get greedy, walk in with your previous winnings, and be like "yeah I got this." The casino always comes out ahead.

dam.. i knew this was an odd night.. went to a local casino around my work today with my boys too and was just gonna play some bacarat and eat then leave then i saw texas shootout and never played before but picked it up after seeing couple hands.. cashed a 100 and 2nd hand hit a straight flush and made like 375 off that.. came out that night with 950 after food and drinks haha..

the ogs are wiling to lose a few bucks to see your poker play and then they will eat you alive
 
not bad for first timer. Just don't get the thought of winning again when you go back the 2nd time.
