One last time....
1st - I reread the texts & your summary statement, he never mentioned a restock.. YOU did. Yes, there was a restock, but you brought it up as a way to negotiate the price. A restock of a few pairs or less, is enough to drive the price UP, and actually HURT your negotiating tactics. Tell me, with the Blue Don "restocks", how much did it lower the price... or did it raise it due to the supply was no where near the demand.
2nd - Again, you point me to every $850 sell & I will show you 3 going for $1000+
3rd - Your direct quote is "He's been telling people how "exclusive" they are, but doesn't even know the blue Don's restocked at different boutiques last year." That is INDEED insinuating that they aren't exclusive, solely because of the "restocks" of the previous Just Don II.
4th - No, your are not a hypebeast, hye-driven, or spend-happy, if you pay market or a little over market price. Some people just have the funds to get what they want, and don't have the time to negotiate prices nad have back and forth convos from complete strangers. Flight Club & popular resellers, like 23Penny or Sole88, are quicker & give buyers peace of mind that the transaction is legit.
5th - Your right he did bring up money... only after you lowballed him $850. I honestly wouldn't have even responded to you if I were him, simply because YOU know they are going for $1K at the moment. Yes, negotiating is a HUGE part of personal fiance business, but if you think a offer of $850 to an asking price of $2.1K $1.3K $1075 isn't somewhat of a lowball, then you need a couple more business classes.
Key rule of business, never offer a deal you wouldn't consider yourself.
