All rich people are in some sort of debt. Taking out a loan is just basic investingI can't believe this guy is in debt when his wife and her family makes millions.
bingo...The only people who care if a sneaker sits are you hypebeast. If the shoe was mass produced its supposed to sit. Most shoes do. We are talking about creating revenue not hype.
nothing better than a shoe you like sitting on shelves and getting marked down

Kanye ISNT 53mil in debt. This dude loves to use wrong terminology and exaggerate things.
Since he started wanting to make clothes like over 10 years ago till now, he has spent 53mil of his own money investing in his own projects and ideas.
It's not dept, it's just that most of it came at a loss. He's not operating his life in the red and the term debt was wrong to use in this situation. He's made his money back, but not from where he invested it. Lol.
Creating Our Own ‘Yeezy-Halo’ Effect
When Adidas first signed Kanye West, a ton of criticism and chatter followed about whether the deal would do anything to help bring back the brand’s relevancy and allow it to compete with Nike for the top spot in the footwear industry.
While not yet reclaiming the No. 2 spot from Under Armour, Adidas is coming off being the most-liked sneaker brand on Instagram for 2015, having arguably the No. 1 sneaker of year in the Ultra Boost running shoe, and touting unmatched brand buzz across the board, including renewed interest in the Stan Smiths and Superstar heritage shoe lines.
Not all artist relationships are as integrated into the fabric of pop culture or deeply emotional as Kanye and Adidas. But with a real-time holistic approach leveraging artist passion points and a corporate brand marketing infrastructure, we can leverage the same tactics to “Yeezy-hack” the traditional celebrity brand business relationship.
Yes, this much was expected when Adidas partnered with Ye.

exactly, I had bought two pairs of boosts before I even knew kanye had anything to do with adidasYeezy can get some credit for Adidas but it's because they actually make sneakers that rival Nike now
2012 = whatever
2015 = exciting
you can't make generic old sneakers and expect to compete with Nike
