Had some Korean meal like that where it's pretty much bbq and some cheese, highly rated. It was pretty wack.

They are both good. But if I had to chose, Korean Fried Chicken.

Do yourself a favor and order some from Bonchon or pick up a pack of freshly cooked Korean Fried Chicken from H-Mart.

popeyes is very average. Your local Chinese take-out spot probably has better fried chicken.

Everything isn't for everyone but I would assume you just had bad batches from a bad store.

But again, I could very well be wrong and you legit find IT very average

If you're in Houston try Dak n Bop / Hoodadak in Katy. Best Korean fried chicken I've had.

Also try the Oh My Gogi! food truck. Their loaded Korean fries are probably a top 5 thing I've ever eaten in my life.
