are there any specific marks to look for when trying to check the authenticy of 12's?

Completely wearable, IMO.

Worst case scenario is (possible) sole separation, which is an easy fix. If they haven't already started to separate, then you should be fine. I still rock OG XIIIs fairly regularly.

If you wannna wear them..Do you.. If you want them to collect I would advise to not.. a fixed shoe is not worth as much IMO. You can always tell a fixer upper..
