Well, it's really just knowledge of the shoe, but obviously it's the materials, shape, colors and then other things like stitching, font of the tag etc.

And don't worry about the cardboard, most Jordans have it (as in fact do most athletic sneakers, regardless of brand)... doesn't mean they're fake.
