Remember when everyone was praising BI for being able to be a point/forward, and run the offense thru him, etc etc? That's when he was "most effective" and he needs to be staggered off Bron so he can have the ball in his hands, etc etc. Lose a game, and now it's Luke calls too much iso ball.
The bottom line, clearly, plainly, point blank, make your free throws, the Lakers would have 3-4 more wins, including last night. Free throws are not coaching. If they were, Phil Jackson wouldn't be the greatest coach ever, because Shaq would have ruined his career.

Luke needs to call a time out after the 15th turnover by Ingram after dribbling for 20 seconds and tell his team to run ball through zo. Ball movement. Keep running. Keep playing. Stop trying to waste time

Lol at Puke saying this as if everytime we have a big lead they don't go to iso ball down the stretch. Either the players don't respect him enough to hijack the offense down the stretch of games or he's basically lying to keep the heat off of him.

So you think Luke is standing there yelling at the team to slow it down when they have a good lead in the 4th quarter? You really think he’s doing that? Players naturally become more careful and conservative when trying to preserve a lead, it’s been like that forever.

Well he fo damn sho ain’t yellin at them during the game to run something that resembles a competent offense. He can point all the fingers he wants after the game but the games over. He had the opportunity to make an adjustment in game, call a play, tell Brandon stop runnin ISO. But he didn’t. You mean to tell me he waited the entire fourth quarter watching that debacle and it didn’t occur to him to say **** at any point during the game? But now after the game wants to say Brandon needs to do a better? What a clown. This ain’t even a one game thing. This has happened in damn near every game where we had a lead in the fourth. He can’t recognize that iso is inefficient? Apparently he recognizes it after the game. This dude is the damn coach. When he sees iso being ran, at like the 6 minute mark, he should say something then. Not 30 minutes after the game

We can't blame him for missed free throws, injuries or tough foul calls, but late game offense is fair game.
The offense is gonna slow down and there will be more iso, but I would not allow BI to call for screens over and over again. At least make sure he's in the post where he has a size advantage.

I’ll give you this. It’s on Luke to take players out if they’re not following his plan. But we don’t know what’s being said in huddles and what he’s telling players. It’s all speculation. For all we know, BI got sick of Shump bodying him and talking **** so he thought damn what the coach is saying I’m gonna go at him and get buckets.

Honestly think there ain’t a definite plan to follow besides “burn clock, limit the opps possessions”. And he gives the team freedom to operate how they want. He’ll chime in here and there and call for a horns set but usually he’s just standing around watching.
It ain’t all Brandon either that’s why I don’t think Brandon would go against the coach like that. Kuzma was tryna be a hero too and started chucking. Kuz was doing that in the gsw game too when they came back and cut it down to 2 before Rondo took over.
I completely understand limiting the opponents possessions. But you can drain the clock and run set plays instead of relying on iso. I think this all comes back to Luke not having any real offensive scheme.

coaching staff or luke gotta raise the stakes on these FT's tho, like 500$ for every freethrow you miss a game or something, gotta get creative its all mental at this point
