**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

relax
ad bout to be a laker for the next decade
best big in the game rn ez lol

then still room for another max caliber player or maybe several lower tier players that are solid who knows

lebron will age will because he'll start playing pass-first like earvin ez

magic/kareem 2020 lmao

Lakers will have to purge the ENTIRE roster to even have money for another max player this summer. AD isn't signing an extension until summer 2020. We can all agree we aren't beating the Warriors this year right? What then happens if KD stays? What if this injury for Bron was a precursor of things to come? Say we don't get another max and AD spends 2 years here with no hope of a championship and decides he wants to walk. Then we're right back to where we were 6 years ago.

If you could guarantee me AD WOULD 100% be a Laker for 10 years I'd be all for it. I personally just don't feel comfortable hitching the wagon to Bron with the Warriors still in the way.

ya man i get this but at some point you gotta take the risk. Ask OKC how the risk worked out...you gotta do it and treat him well. etc.

or kyrie can come and we all gonna be at the parade in 2021 lol

lots of ifs bro

can't be mad at getting AD when he's 25 tho imo

bron bout to take him to germany to fix his injury bug

But what did OKC really get out of it? They aren't ever winning a championship with that roster. So what did they really achieve? I do agree at some point you push all in, just not when there is still a juggernaut like GSW out there.

lmaoooooo

Lakers just traded 3 #2 picks & one late 1st rounder for Lebron and Anthony Davis + still have room for a near max player this summer and some of y’all are still complaining.

They gave up Dlo, Randle, LouWill/Kuz, Zo & BI.
FOR LEBRON JAMES AND ANTHONY DAVIS PEOPLE.

because if it dont result in chips then its back to the lotto i guess

something like that :lol

zo/kuz/bi at their ceilings i still don't think compare to bron+AD.. even tho bron is old
plus might be able to get a 3rd star which seems likely

Obviously not.

Is AD going to stay if we aren't a title contender this year and next though? That is supposedly the reason for the trade demand.

Obviously we ain't winning the chip this year. None of us know whats gonna happen in the summer or next season. He's made it real clear he wants to be a Laker though.

I just want to see what this team currently build does healthy, and if we can make some noise in the playoffs (assuming we make it) people like Kawhi and Klay will be interested and give me LeBron + Kawhi/Klay+ Young Core over Lebron AD and G league all-stars

No they won’t but the three of them combined is what we’re giving up not one of them

It's not even just the 3 of them. You know they're gonna wanna clear cap for another max so in reality it's every single player not named Lebron + picks that is leaving.

What we do know for a fact is we aren't beating GS with Bron/AD and no depth and AD made it clear he wants to compete for championships.

If/when KD bolts, sure give up the entire team. At that point I'm all for it. It just doesn't make sense to compete for 2nd best.
