I need us to be in the 8th seed by the 17th going to a dinner party hosted by this guy who is a dubs fan(I live in the Bay area) and was actually at that game 7 loss Lebron served the dubs, bought tickets the day of the game and shelled out like $2000 per ticket. he said he and his boy just sat there dumbfounded at the end of the game and of course I've never let him live that down, we always used to debate on how good lebby was, and I honestly played it up more because he's a dubs fan.
He was always like "Lebron eats teams alive bro, you better hope these rumors arent true about him going to the lakeshow."
all of this couldn't have come at a worse time. I'm gonna get roasted
Depending on the state we in he comes out guns blazing, might have to kiss my wife goodnight and head home

Unfortunately, Adande is 100% right and you should have seen it all along. Most NBA trades, even the big ones, come together and are finalized quickly usually the public doesn't know anything until about a day before.
This Anthony Davis trade is the first time I can remember such a public back and forth between two teams. Look how quickly the Otto Porter and Tobias Harris trades came together and executed, we didn't hear anything until the deals were pretty much done. I feel like either the Pelicans we're trying to publicly embarrass the Lakers (in which case the Lakers fell right into their hands) or the Lakers are the leakiest organization in the league

Best bet against BOS is they don’t offer the “overwhelming” package that they’ve led NO they think they will

It’s clear they don’t want to make a deal unless the Lakers cave and give them the draft picks. They are baiting the lakers into being desperate and agreeing to their terms. They have no reason to reach out to the lakers because there is no counter. Hornets leaked everything and Magic should have shut off communication 5 days ago. Hope they learn from this. Idiots.
