**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

For the life of me i do not understand why people continue to talk about the Celtics grabbing AD when the man has made it a point to say he will never resign with the Celtics. Danny ainge has been scared to pull trades for a multitude of stars this entire time, but somehow we think he's gonna give up all his assets for a AD rental??

The chances of this backfiring on the Pels is extremely high... Assuming we get into the playoffs, the kids are gonna ball.... and do nothing but increase their value.

By the summer the Pels are gonna realize that the offers they want aren't gonna be there & they will be forced to revisit the Lakers offer.

the only other viable offer could come from the Clippers & as of right now that is looking pretty shaky as they only have SGA & a late lottery pick, & a heat 2021 pick.... the heat haven't had a top 10 pick since Wade.
Winslow was a Top 10

Pelicans punked us but what do we expect when we try and force a team to trade their franchise player to us...cant be mad at them im mad at magic for not seeing it and just kept giving more...we look like clowns right now

DAMN Kuzma here in DC, I might have to check those Wizard tickets. Unfortunately I think playing in the DC area will sap any potential he has, it is a dead zone here. Wall and Beal just flounder and get the Washington fans hopes up only to choke.

Still look like Lakers are going to be hurting at PG, would be nice to get Beal. Funny though that Wizards team can make the playoffs with that lineup in the east.

To everyone saying why would the Celtics do this......cuz they think they can change his mind. If Kyrie stays and they win a chip, would he still just bounce? Maybe not

That 3 way AD between LA/NO/WAS looks good. Just need a little more going to Was perhaps.

Main reason I wanted them to move for Beal.

Tatum and Smart for AD? :lol

It's all people hoping he don't end up on the Lakers, that's all it is. They want him anywhere but the Lakers. Celtics just happen to be the team that people think have a chance.

Not sure how true this is

I hope Boston does it just to get left with nothing in the aftermath. Anthony Davis coming to the Lakers won't change anything in the West until KD leaves and even then, it's not a given the Warriors just fall off the map.

Lakers should keep what they have. Operate on your own timetable.

I hope they take boston's deal and I hope Kyrie bolts and AD leaves the following year. Yeah we might not be good next year but Botson is done for a while if they make that deal...
And they would be stuck with Hayward

I rewatched highlights of this game last night.
Man. That was the performance of his career.

If he lost that game, his rep would’ve took such a hit. Went out there and completely dominated in the Garden. The Celtics didn’t have a chance.

The block is probably the play of his career.
Closing out the playoff game against the Pistons was a moment too but 2012 game 6 was the best game of his career.
