Apparently, there's a strong indication that Beal is having second thoughts signing a Supermax deal with Washington. Can the Lakers still afford AD, if Beal is acquired in the offseason?
BRON COULD NEVER
BRON COULD NEVER
i think he cant just do a straight FT shot motion he has to try to get in rhythm like a step back jLeCharityStripe doing way too much when he gets to the FT line with that step back while spinning the ball, then top it all off he crouch all the way down to the knees before he releases the shot
Dude tryin to do step backs on FT's lol, no wonder he shooting so poorly.
sports world been caring about what he does since he was 15 man ****s tough lots of pressureIt’s all mental with LeBron it’s all connected to his passive aggressiveness, his anxiety, fear of failure etc
That’s why he bites his nails, it’s why he chews on his lips, it’s why he’s always looking around seeing what people are thinking or saying . He’s actually a prototypical case study for a psychologist. It goes back to how he was raised and what’s in his genes. He’s not an alpha. He’s not Kobe. He cares about people’s perceptions of him.
That’s not a knock. It’s just who he is. Different .
***** really hopped in the thread to brag about getting a draft pick 1 spot ahead of the lakers and not receiving any compensation for a player who is 100% leaving after the year lmao... y’all still ainn winnin **** ***** so step right the **** back out wit yo stupid ***Would like to step in the room for a second and let yall know that..... my Pelicans will have a better draft spot than yall and we still not giving up The Brow. *drops mic*
All great points when looking at it from this perspective. It’s all mental with LeBron it’s all connected to his passive aggressiveness, his anxiety, fear of failure etc

I honestly can't remember if his free throw mechanics was the same in MIA and CLE and if he was doing that step-back thing when he played there. To be honest, there's no excuse why he shouldn't be shooting at least 75% from the line.i think he cant just do a straight FT shot motion he has to try to get in rhythm like a step back j
dude is weird
he wasn't shooting this bad in miami idk wtf happened to him lol
Bron has been terrific in game 7s tho. He’s played big in those big moments. The only thing with him is doesn’t go out with than mental fortitude every single time out lolSince the early 80's, I'd say I've only watched a handful of players that have super high level Clutch Championship Genes on both O and D aka 'The Mentality' aka I'm-down-to-go-to-battle-with-you-in-Game 7-with-absolutely-no-freakin-worries type ****:
Kobe, MJ, Magic, Kareem, Bird, Duncan, Olajuwon, DWade.
All great points when looking at it from this perspective.
So who will assume the Alpha role on the Lakers is the great big question. Lonzo ain't an alpha either.

I think Kuz has shown alpha tendencies and like you said his game hasn't caught up to his personality yet. Not sure though if Maginka are willing to wait and see if it all comes to fruition. His lack of defensive tenacity is what prevents him from being the ultimate alpha tho imho.Kuz has an alpha personality just don't got the game to go with it. He can't do anything but score.
I definitely loved what BI showed post All Star. I still would love to see more from him on the defensive side simply because he's got the length to make a great impact on D.Ingram. He demonstrated after the deadline

Personality wise I'm still not sure if he the type to be 'alpha' enough to take the ball in his hands in crunch time and tell everybody to get out the way cause he bout to take over. Imo next season will tell, whether or not he a Laker.
