**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Wasn't Phil Handy there when Dion and Kyrie were playing together? Life before Bron came back. So they prob have good rapport.

Went to bed early again and missed the game.
Vogel preaching defense has been money!
Thankful for rotations and in game adjustments.

Lost in last night's contest was how great KCP played despite only having 4 points in the box score.

Those who know, know.

The role players always look better when you win.
For example, Avery Bradley played some great D, but had the Lakers lost, you can bet that his 0-5 from the field and 0-3 from behind the 3 point line would get pointed out.

Brosizzlew30.23 Brosizzlew30.23 , what was spectacular about KCP last night?
Nothing spectacular, just plain solid.

Very Disciplined on Defense. Help rotations were on point, so was his on ball D and getting in lanes.

He was playing vital minutes all throughout that 4th quarter.

He made all the right passes and took the right shots on offense, within the flow of their offense.

Made little to no mistakes.

KCP and Caruso at the guard spots off that bench is very very solid because they both smart players.

How Vogel manages playing time for AB, KCP and Waiters will be interesting

I wish Rondo was the odd man out since he can’t shoot worth a damn but we know he’ll get big minutes in the playoffs

So we all know that we scramble a lot on defense. KCP would play the passing lanes during those scrambles and got so turnovers and deflections. KCP was solid. All the role players (not Rondo) were solid.

Exactly. Perception changes greatly between a one-point win in a one-point loss.

I bet against Bron in game 7 against the pacers 2018. The Cavs had looked washed all season and especially in that series they were extra cheeks. This dude went berzerk and dismantled Indy with his bare hands on the road. After that I learned my lesson. When you watch the game in a sportsbook and all them bronsexuals are going nuts while you sit there with lost money because you underestimated him, it hits different :lol. We have LeBron James and Anthony Davis. I'm not betting against that

Just watching the highlights of yesterdays game & the difference was so clear, We finally showed the physicality we need. Every screen from AD/Dwight/Javale was strong, Dwight/Javale with the duck ins & clear outs on the boards.

Banging with Giannis in the post, Making the fouls count for something. Our frontcourt finally played like they realized they have natural gifts no other team has. are guards were flying all over the court on defense & closing out. We play with this intensity Vs the Clippers & we're going to blow them out
