**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

What you love about the young fella is that he ain't playin scared. And he plays in the moment. Didn't let the mistakes bother him, stayed focused and came right back to hit the game winner.

He gonna be really really good once he learns the game. 24-6-7 easily once he in his prime.

thats too much troof sir

will be interesting to see what the rotations are like when lebron, shroeder, and caruso are healthy and in the mix. who's minutes gets cut completely? i imagine it'll be opponent based.
Drummond, AD, Bron, KCP, Schroder, Marc, Kuz, Wes and Caruso. Not sure Vogel can stomach THT's mistakes come playoff time. Trezz should be situational.

Now that the 6th seed is practically locked up for us...need the nuggets to move ahead to 3rd

Rollercoaster night for THT, but glad he was able to come through big at the end.

Wes, Marc, and Keef are vets...they'll have their regular season struggles but I'm sure they'll all have big moments in this upcoming playoff run.

As iv'e been saying all season..... all we need is health. We have the deepest & most versatile team in the league when healthy & guys with a lot of experience.

on another note where does THT stand amongst all the "young core" kids in terms of overall potential? just straight up if they all hit their peak ceilings as players where would he rank?

I have it as

BI, Lonzo, Randle & quite honestly i would have THT fourth out of everyone else (D'lo, Clarkson, Nance etc etc)

I think this kids potential is ridiculous

Hmmm, this is tough but I will go:

Ingram > Randle > D'Lo >= THT > Clarkson/Nance/Zubac/Hart

Edit:

Completely forgot about Lonzo...Slot him between THT and the other guys.

Since we talking potential and "if they hit their peak," I have it as....

Ingram, THT, Randle, Clarkson

DLo and Lonzo are a couple steps behind because neither have given me reason to believe in the last 3 years that either of them will be better going forward due to lack of consistency. Russell and Lonzo have hit their proverbial Peak imho

is there a graphic that shows all of the potential outcomes and matchups for the play in games?

like if lakers go 3-0 and portland goes 1-2, portland drops to the 7th.
if GS loses 3 and memphis wins 3, memphis moves to 8th? etc.

Grind out win against a streaking, gritty team, good win.

Banner night! Lets raise that thang and put a beating on these boys and continue to gain some momentum heading into the playoffs...gotta finish STRONG

Depending on the game(s)/matchups, I would think he could use THT and Trezz in certain games, blowouts either directions, if someone is ailing or scuffling, etc to bring a kind of spark.

Not that this is the same, at all, but I remember baby Kobe coming in in a blowout vs Portland and he went nuclear and almost brought them all the way back.

I could see these two doin somethin silly like this in a series we're up 2-0 or somethin like that.
