I can count at least 3 times when a lack of confidence in our shot lead to one to two more unnecessary passes that lead to a turnover or a far worse shot. This included AD passing up open jumpers late in the clock in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

we are doubling hard on the perimiter so we are left scrambling to rotate, usually leaving the big on ayton to step out/recover.

At the end of the third quarter. There were two instances when the lakers were in transition. Kuzma gets the ball with only Ayton in front of him at an angle and off balance and instead of attacking like he normally does. He stops to find Lebron. Him and kcp were so scared last night.

Watching the fourth quarter. Vogel gonna have a great film session. Most of the suns points from start of fourth to the mid fourth were almost all off of lakers horrible mental lapses. I’m talking two players running to one guy type of defensive rotations. Just completely lost.
i think when they went up 10ish they just stripped focusing on that end for that stretch. (E.g Ad runs to contest Payne’s 3 while Drummond is already in front of him...leaving crowder for the open put back. Or. Suns setting double screen leading to two guys going to the strong side leaving Crowder wide open by like 7 feet, causing Caruso to dive and lead to 4 pt play). Basically, lakers coulda won this game by 15+ EASILY
also how was that not a flagrant on Payne on AD. He literally, I mean LITERALLY tackled him.

thats prob why they save the AD at the 5 minutes
