Utah trade looks different now a quarter into the season considering how well everyone's playing settling into their roles. The West sucks right now and it's anybody's game.
I would've pushed for Clarkson/Beasley and dropped Rudy out the deal if they really wanted both firsts. But, I understand the overall trepidation from Pelinka/Buss before the season.
If they gave up Clarkson/Beasley, you'd be set. But even the original deal, you could repackage Pat Bev/Nunn/mins and that 2023 first for another wing(s), shooter(s) (*ahem* Buddy) or big. Depth/shooting/size up front whatever you need.
Ainge is still going to sell off half the team come next month anyway.
Might be room to grab an Olynyk, Beasley or Conley for pretty cheap.
