But conventional wisdom and thinking says that if a player is healthy but isn't seeing the court during games, it's likely because the player is in the coach's doghouse.

And when someone is in the coach's doghouse,it's usually cause the player ain't succeeding in whatever he's doing behind the scenes (i.e, practice, training, etc)

Maybe Ham just wants someone to spread the floor and be more mobile. Doesn’t mean the guy has a bad attitude or practices bad. Just not good enough to play

Are you saying the 9-12 players on every roster are in the coach’s doghouse? Which teams actually play all 12 players in every game?

I just think Jones isn’t good enough to play relative to what Ham is looking for on the court

He was great for la in his two ten day stents and in sac. I mean we can only use the data we have. For a vet min. Low risk bring back. Can always just waive him but Jeanie not gonna spend money for marginal improvements

Yeah makes sense, I can see that too. But oftentimes this season, even when AD was playing, Ham would employ lineups with AD and Wenyen or TB and Wenyen yet Jones still can't find playing time. Either way, Jones can't crack a rotation which has ample room for bigs to get minutes. Ever since TB been healthy, Jones' playing time has been basically nonexistent.

Jones is a zero on offense besides alley oops and hasn't picked up Ham's defense. I think they should still give him 5-8 minutes to ease Bryant's workload.
