One thing I have noticed is national TV broadcasters seem to never go in on officials.

When you have your hand on the ball and they swipe the ball and hit your hand, yes hand part of the ball
When you’re shooting, they have to let you follow through. How can someone shoot without following through? So we can go slap people’s hands and not let them follow through and that’s legal?

When you're contesting, it's only natural you catch their hand if trying to play defense. That's where "hand part of the ball" comes in. That why high release points and catch shoot speed is stressed.
Defense is at a severe disadvantage in today's nba so I can't trip on that. Like I said, he got him with the body on the fly by.
