**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

wait so is bron still the GM or?

:lol

On another idea, it would behoove the Lakers to keep the guys they just acquired passed this year.

Having $30-35mil in cap space with only LeBron, AD & Christie is a lot harder to build with than having $0 cap space and you have DLo, Beasley, Vanderbilt. Keep Rui.

Then it allows you to see if you can piece together trade. DLo as a 3rd option is a good look. Especially if you can keep rotation players too.

If Lakers could use Lonnie and/or Bev and some seconds to make another move on a guy you want to keep. Lakers are building a few year chance at a winner instead of limping through Bron and AD
feels like they gonna try to make a 4th run at a big agent (myrie lmao) but if not they'll shuffle again
'tis the way

Apologize to Rob my *censored*.

The energy in here is like an abused spouse getting a trinket of a gift, like some $5 Walmart movie, and going absolutely crazy over it like it's the best thing that has ever happened to them.

Stockholm Syndrome AF in here.

I'm still team *Profanity* That Guy.

You know how people do.

If you dislike Lebron:
Klutch is responsible for every bad move, Rob is responsible for every good move.

If you like Lebron:
Klutch is responsible for everything good with the Lakers, Rob is responsible for every bad move.

People are funny man.

If they could do it while keeping rotation guys, it makes so much sense.

But otherwise, woof.

Due to AD's injury history, and LeBron's age. The team needs competent depth. Not trying to play the Big 3 game.

I'm not saying sorry to Pelinka unless the damn team wins a chip. He doesn't get props for doing the bare minimum and reversing an all time bad trade.

😂

He put the roster together for 2020, had a really good off-season in 2021, was going to trade for Buddy Hield in 22 until Bron and AD pushed for Russ and now has had a great recovery with the Russ trade and getting Rui for a bag of peanuts.

Maybe just maybe he knows a little about what he's doing and it's incumbent on the players to do what is necessary on the damn floor. There's no scapegoats now.

Vanderbilt is a good defender and hustle guy, can play 3-5

The only problem is, you have to play him with 4 guys who can score or shoot. He may actually be best in the starting lineup at the 4 because he adds very little outside of putbacks on offense.. DLo/Bron/AD can make up for lack of his scoring

depth for sure

they gotta work towards modern nba
switchable players that can shoot lmao

seem to be on a good track to that
I like AD but he gotta take that step up. think its a reason why they're so adamant on find a 'third guy'

In the end, he's the one making the trade call to the league and putting pen to paper. I don't wanna hear it.

I see the language is already starting that because of this trade, we have to win a championship w/ ALL TIME GREAT DEANGELO RUSSELL, or else it's the player's fault. And that's true, except that in this narrative, 'players' actually means Lebron.

🤣🤣😂

Went out the window when they got Westbrook.

I think a DLo level player was probably the best you get in that area without having to gut continuity and depth

What's the price tag on Hart? Ain't seen the deal yet.

Another perfect glue guy in the mold of Caruso that can guard and play bigger than his position.

Big what-if is D'Lo signing with the Lakers in 2019. Supposedly he had a $80M offer from LA before the Warriors came through with the max.
