**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Always fun watching the Lakers just ignoring some pretty glaring issues for the, well let's have a 3rd scorer trading away an equally efficient 3rd scorer, as if that movie hasn't played itself out already.

While the Heat just then traded for a 3rd scorer with their 9th best scorer.

Mitchell and Trae are stars.

But let’s say they stay put.
Then trade the 3 firsts and what would need to be Reaves/Rui/Gabe, to match salaries. Or Reaves/DLo and Gabe. Some form or combo.

Likely another one of those, why are we .500 (probably worse) through 41 games again. Because there won’t be anybody else on the team.

and when Bron is out, a year or two?
Then you have no picks to then replenish an entire rotation next to AD and Mitchell or Trae

Movie has played out already.

Everyone wants to come here to play with the KINGGGGGG. Duh!

Idk about that. What happened when we had hella cap space and Aldridge rejected us and KD wouldn’t even take a meeting with us? We blaming the king for that too?

I find it funny that there’s still a contingent of fans (not you, just speaking in general terms) that love to blame bron for anything.

Once bron retires, this team is going straight back to lottery status and pictures like this

Tristan Thompson got suspended for 25 games. Maybe the Cavs would be interested in a lightly used Jaxson Hayes.

Totally get what ur saying. There are NBA players who would love a chance to play with their childhood idol/goat in their eyes

And there are players who feel playing with Lebron you get the blame when you lose (“Lebron needs help”) or Lebron gets the credit when you win. So they want to avoid that situation

Definitely agree we were a dumpster fire before he came, a lot of that was due to trash front office decisions. Give Lebron credit for turning it around when he came

If we trade for Dejonte now that's a better asset in the summer should they go big game hunting in the summer.

Aint noone wanna come here to play for the lakers especially from the buyout market. Paying cali taxes, and having 4 seconds to shoot the ball 8 times per game while Bron or AR holds the ball for 20 seconds aint enticing at all 😂

Ty Lue goes out of his way to double team AD on the catch and now there's no Bron to ease the pressure tonight. Man...
