Not too crazy about giving up picks for players who might not even be able to help much this season, AND could potentially walk in the summer.

Does a healthy Gabe have more upside than those names mentioned? Not including DFS because I agree the Lakers won’t be able to get him with that package

I think some of the motivation is to just get off Gabe's contract as much as improving the talent.

Probably just me but if it’s not an upgrade in talent coming in, I’d be willing to hold on to Gabe and hope that he can be a productive player when healthy
