Taurean Prince gotta have some type of dirt on darvin ham. This video going over the lineup data is pretty damning. The data matches everything we've all been saying, Prince is easily the worst rotation player getting significant minutes

It’s more so that they need Prince to be an elite C&S guy, play good defense and rebound.

And he’s not that. Solid 3 point shooter. Mediocre defender and all things considered (height and position), the worst rebounder on the team.

Reliance on Prince the way Ham has, has contributed to some of the mess.
But the Lakers are some puzzle pieces away from being in the next tier. And some of that is poor asset management in the off-season (Drafting a project, using the MLE on a PG, not trying to get a more traditional big to backup AD).

Prince is solid in 15-25 minutes off the bench, problem is HAM was playing him 33-38+ minutes first half of the season. Rui has been better, but he has his deficiencies too.

I'm not trying to go full statistician on you but that isn't how you interpret lineup data. You can't simply say "Lakers would be as good as a Celtics if they didn't play Prince". The best way to look at it is to identify which lineups play the best together and eliminate those that don't.

There is a clear outlier and that outlier in every lineup scenario is Taurean Prince. The eye test also shows you that this is the case. Any coach, 70 games into the season would have eliminated this lineup completely but for some reason Ham continue to play Prince.
