**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Fasho but there was a catastrophic emergency that caused the team to postpone 2 games :lol

I by no means am speaking on the games that weren't played, I'm talking about the losses we piled up vs Texas teams while Reaves and Bron took turns turning the ball over every possession.

19% since December 1. :frown:

Bron got him an open look at the end of the third, Knecht hesitated and passed it back out and Bron yelled at him after the buzzer. Confidence is shot.
He ain’t out there for defense. If he’s got an open look, got to take it.

In terms of Knechts potential: won’t ever be a good defender, play-making is limited as well. He can have a Sam Hauser, Isaiah Joe role, but unfortunately a worse defender (and smaller) than both of them. If he improves and can become consistent shooter, his ceiling is Kyle Korver imo. With max Christie + AR (And to an extent Gabe Vincent), there’s not many minutes for him to develop here

Mitch Pelinka please.
This is the defense Jonas will give us.

No thanks

If he could be Duncan Robinson with hops, that be a win. Regardless, he should be getting 15 mpg. Nasty rookie wall though.

Contrast our roster with Houston’s? Why are they 15 games over .500 and we’re 21-17 with two top 10 players including the “goat”?

Is Udoka that good of a coach?

**** is crazy

Listening to the interviews yesterday and I can see why the lakers lost to the spurs. Hard to have your heart and focus into basketball when you’re dealing with potentially losing your home.

Ad and Bron’s families had to evacuate (I’m sure other players had to deal with the same). Jj’s house burned down. There’s no way I’d be able to focus at work if I was going through something like that.

Hope all of y’all are safe and prayers to all the families displaced by this unfortunate event.

Hope the aftermath ain't the same as hurricane katrina...

As long as the Lakers have Bron and Brow as their Big 2, eventually the Lakers front office, owner, and coaches will realize that the way to a title will be to go 2-Big and put AD at the 4 the majority of his minutes.

To think this team should be chucking up 30-40 threes a game and playing outside-in is an experiment doomed for failure.

The last 3-4 years is proof of that. The definition of Insanity is….

jalen green, 2nd pick
Jabari smith, 3rd pick
Reed Sheppard, 3rd pick
Amen Thompson, 4th pick
Sengun, 16th pick
Tari Eason, 17th pick
Whitemore, 18th pick

All drafted within the last 4 years.

Udoka is a good coach. They hit homers with Eason, Thompson and sengun. green is taking the leap this month. Jabari isn’t a superstar but he’s a great role player & can stretch the floor.

Reed Sheppard was the 3rd pick this year and barely plays because they don’t have enough minutes. Bro went to the G league for one game and damn near dropped 50 :rollin

Whitmore is another stupid athletic player who can’t get minutes on their squad. They have a lot of depth. Impressive team building post Harden trade.

Lol scratch all that I just realized you made that post as a way to hate on Lebron. Smh I shouldn’t have responded.

In only 3 years time, Lakers ownership went from rocking Authentics (21-6 record to start the season)

and Finals bound til AD got hurt…..

…..to rocking straight reps 😂
