And when did Shaq start winning?
When Kobe turned 21 and became a starter, the Lakers immediately became champs.
Oh, and Phil helped too.
Shhhh you'll just get a bunch of Finals stats and Shaq carrying this blah blah that ignoring what Bean did in the West playoffs where there were actual live bodies in the way.
I seen game 4 at Indy, in OT. I know what happened.
I seen game 7 vs the Blazers too, I know how we got passed them.
Shaq was a force. He was a force in 94, in 95, in 96, in 97, in 98, in 99, but he didn't win ANY of those years, til Kobe growed up. Suddenly, Shaq was a Champion times 3.
Wow and you say I discredit members of my favorite teams when I make arguments for someone.
You're so damn hypocritical :rrollin
See, I am not discrediting Shaq. He was a beast. An all time great. No where do you see me saying he wasn't.
Here is what I said, again.
Shaq was a force in 94, in 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and he didn't win anything. These are facts. You may check if you need too.
Then, suddenly, the teenager Kobe, off the bench, 13 minutes a game type stuff was gone, and Kobe became the starting SG. And guess what happened?
And as for game 7 WCF, and game 4 of the Finals. Well, how did those go?
So I'm not discrediting Shaq in any way, I'm pointing out flat out truths. Shaq didn't win til Kobe was good to go. Kobe was a BEAST in game 7 vs Portland. And Kobe saved the Lakers *** in game 4 of the Finals, in OT, on the road.
2001, and 2002 Kobe speak for themselves. That dude was killing it, same as Shaq was. And those years, the Lakers were even better than they were in 2000, when Kobe was at his youngest/least all around type of game.
