I'll put up a poll regarding our acquisitions once everything's official.

For now, how many games do you guys honestly think Kobe will play next season?
I'll keep track of everyone's projections in the OP.

50-65.

I'll go right in the middle with 57.

Equivalent of missing a little over a game a week.

I vote 50-65 and he has a mvp type season where he finishes top 3 in the voting but does not get the award because Lakers are 6th, 7th, 8th seed this season.

One option is to play Kobe at the 3, and start Russell/Clarkson. Kobe likes playing 3. But more roster moves coming

I like these moves given our circumstances and strike outs

Really wish we find a way to keep Ellington and his outside shooting

I don't have to watch Nick young, Wes, Boozer, Lin, Ellington?

I love it.

A+ offseason.

Work on your pitch to FAs Lakers and we're cooking with house money.

Now, Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J. Spears from Yahoo Sports are reporting that the Lakers may be sending Ryan Kelly and/or Robert Sacre to Indiana, though Nick Young is also a candidate to be moved.

“The Lakers are exploring trades for Young, Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre. Sacre and/or Kelly are possibilities to go to Pacers,” the report states.

Just to keep it updated.

Lakers collecting assets (Hibbert, Lou, Bass) to get something cooking for Boogie? Kings just got Koufos and they drafted a center. Hoping to see "Cousins to Lakers" headline soon

They'd have to wait a while to trade the guys.. I believe it would be December 15th for Lou & Bass.

But as P said. It won't happen.

trim all of this fat. I'm down for a whole new squad, sans kobe. Guys had a full year or two to prove their worth. They failed. Chuck dem deuces Mitch. Lets get some more. Lets play in the luxury tax for a little while. We got billy's too.

No. Stay out of the luxury tax this year. You absolutely have to. It resets us to a non taxpayer team, so when we have a playoff team we can stay over the tax, and not have huge problems for a couple years.

Part of me feels like there is too many moving parts to make this work, and could throw it off.

oh yea. nevermind jimmy, dont listen to me, listen to E. lol. read my lips, no new taxes. b.

What if on Thursday it's a massive 4 team trade involving: Lakers, Mavs, Kings, and Nuggets or Sixers...

And we somehow end up with Boogie without having to give up D'Lo Russell and only give up Clarkson and a future 1st rounder ?

:eek
