My man Cruz working with Stabler? I totally forgot about him since Coach Carter.
I knew him as Spanish from Old School.
OC been a little slow to start.
This season just doesn't have that same suspense as S1&2 yet.

Damn. Who was it before vs. now?

This show is so frustrating.
They want to get this soccer player abuser so badly they put the battery in the father's back and almost get dude killed.
Didn't search the guy they wired and didn't feel any remorse for creating the situation.
Yeah I typed that as I saw the scene and didn't focus on him explaining where he vog the gun after. Guess the writers knew they needed some cover.
L&O had the wild convincing murderer this ep. Actor been in the show a few times.
So I pretty much stopped watching shortly after Stabler left. It was still good for a little while but then they started to make it all about the cops instead of the cases.
Last year..or maybe 2 years ago when Stabler came back to have his own show, they teased him and Olivia in the cross over episode. It was nothing but fluff. The had Stabler's wife die to open the door for Elliot and Olivia to get together. But that's it.
The only thing left for me in this show is to see Stabler smash Benson. They both retire and live on a beach somewhere.
Yeah I have. They reuse a ton of actors. They're basically favorites of Wolf. Michael Imperioli once played a crazy murdering limo driver and then came back as a detective and starred for a season Same others have played multiple murderers on some how they let this guy out to kill again or how this child murderer a lawyer now and then a murderer again? Young me would be puzzled on thatHave you seen all the L&O episodes? I watched one from S18 or something back in 2010 and they had Carisi in it as a dude who may murked his Asian girlfriend Mike Cutter was my dude. He was ruthless (and creative) AF to get those convictions. I also noticed that the white detective who worked with Anthony Anderson and Cutter's subordinate (the woman) are both together on FBI (CBS show).
ghengesZik can comment as well because I haven't seen every SVU episode but it seems like lately they have pivoted back to focusing on the cases. Like most of these shows there is a little in the beginning and end about one of the cops/detective's personal life. I will let you know when Stabler smashes Benson
I feel the same way. It’s almost as if they are setting her up to make a return to the show in the futureI like the lady in the most recent episode who was talking **** to Olivia. Def can be a good adversary. Wheatley vibes.
Also, poor Cruz, his brothers & those kids.

Yeah Wolf created the whole FBI franchise on CBS and brought his faves over there after running out of space on NBC. Rubirosa and Lupe on FBI just made me come up with a whole back story for how they transitioned to the FBI

After Stabler left, they did a lot of experimenting and expanded the cast. Lot of great eps in those seasons. The shift to Benson as the main lead and damn near second in charge was weird at first but they found their groove (get use to seeing more of Olivia's relationships, her own arch enemy murder/rapist, and eventual decision to become a mother).
Things were also a little shaky after Munch left too. He was never that involved or had a lot of focus stories on him but his commentary was almost necessary.
I'd say those eps are worth the watcher just off the entertainment differed but still engaging TV.
Sorry man this take is corny. Last thing I’d want is for the producers to turn this into the ultimate sappy corny story book ending. So I pretty much stopped watching shortly after Stabler left. It won’t be a story book ending. It’ll just be wrapping up those characters storylines.
Pretty sure the show will go on even after Olivia is gone.
Again , Stabler and Olivia ending up together is a textbook definition of a storybook ending. It is not realistic and it would be sappy, corny and stereotypical . You two act like because they have been the originals they have to fall in love and live happily ever after lol.People won't stop committing SA if Benson and Stabler got together. The show is too popular for it to end even when Olivia calls it quits.
In fact, I can imagine the two of them living together, retired on a beach and then whomever the lead detective is seek them out for advice where they make a cameo appearance long after they have left. That's how you get viewers!
I don’t agree at all that it is textbook or sappy or corny or not realistic.Again , Stabler and Olivia ending up together is a textbook definition of a storybook ending. They both can retire and each live separate lives and get drawn back with a spin off just like stable did. They don’t have to be together and live happily ever after to wrap up their storylines
