LC 2001 Bred 11

I got a second pair of bred 11s, and while for the most part the quality is the same, a few things threw me off. For one, the patent leather was cut much lower. Also, the patent leather felt much softer than on my first pair. My first pair had stiff patent leather. Not sure if that's because these were worn more or what. The front of the sole also didn't come up as high on the new pair.

The cut of the patent leather is ok? It's way lower than another pair I have. The other pair is size 7 and these are size 8, so you'd think these would have a higher cut if anything
