I was in the middle of Sole swapping these and I realized that these didn't have a production date on the tag....Should i even bother to continue?

They're legit.
The production date is at the upper left of the tag, "990103" i.e. Jan 03, 1999.
I think some pairs had the dates on the bottom, and some didn't. (Not 100% sure)
My pair from back then doesn't.
All the legit checks are there though.
Heel bump, lace arm stitching, netting, barcode touching numbers on the tag.
