LC Fire Red 3s

Hi everyone, was wondering if it's possible for one shoe to have very clear differences from the other?  Recently purchased some Fire Red 3s and was curious about the quality.  The stitching and leather both seem great but I noticed a few things that caught my attention.  Firstly, the star molding one shoe is perfect but the other one looks fake & not thick like the other shoe.  The shoe trees are different from any I've ever seen before.  Lastly, around the top eyestay on one side the quality is terrible.  Any insight would be great.  Thank you in advance

I got them from a vintage shop here in Japan but returned them already.  Thanks for responding though.
