LC/PC OG XVI's

hey guys, thinking of grabbing a pair of OG XVI's. Seller claims DS w/shrouds breaking due to age (seems plausible).

Three questions - are they legit? what are they worth? are they actually DS?

They're legit. And seem to be DS. I love 16's, and can tell you that the cdp version is selling for more than the originals. One, because the cdp's are still icey. Two, because the gaiters on he originals were very brittle, and by now will snap immediately if not already broken.

Although identical in reproduction, the cdp don't use real leather, so technically the original is better. But it all depends what you care about most.

Price wise, you didnt name a size, so if its a 9.5/10 like your sig says, i'd say $225-240

decided to cop them. $198 shipped from Japan..... at the prices CDPs have been going lately, seems like a pretty fair price. will update when they arrive.

That seller is a very honest and reliable guy -if he lists them as DS then you can rest assured they will be, and his prices are reasonable too.

As Aphex pointed out -OG XVIs are now very brittle and along with the gaiter, it's highly likely that the plastic parts around the midsole and also on the sole itself will break off. Just something to think about if you plan on wearing them.

Good point, thanks FP23. Not planning on wearing them, purely for the collection. Am pretty excited. Price seems solid and the seller's got great feedback and has been super professional to deal with.
