LEGIT CHECK: 2012 JORDAN IV RETRO Breds DATES ON TAG INSIDE SHOE

Hi all, noob here. I have 2 pairs of 2012 IV black/cement grey-fire red (308497-089). My understanding is that the earlier date represents patented date and the later date is manufactured date. My 1st pair is dated 5/9/12 & 7/19/12. 2nd pair dated 6/12/12 & 7/13/12. If these are the same models (308497-089), shouldn't the patented date be the same?

well if it helps i also have bred 4s but my production dates are 6/12/12 and 08/09/12

I know mine are legit because I picked mines up from a retailer
