They look and feel identical to my other pairs but the carbon fiber is smoother on this pair. The smoothness was different on my 2 release day pairs, but I want to double check these. thanks in advance.

You good. Some of my have elevated CF and some are smooth. All purchased from foot/champs and ndc.
