Legit Check: Air Max 98 "Tour Yellow"

I found these locally and i dont think they look off but something about the navy mudguard (wave?) that is throwing me off. I recently bought another pair in another size that was "verified" and i noticed the material on the navy wave was different than the one im posting. The navy wave on this one feels more like a smooth leather, a bit of texture but not nearly as textured, almost suede like as the "verified" pair i received which has caused me to question this 7.5 and even make me wonder if either are legit. At the moment i dont have many pictures of the current "verified" pair but ill include the one or two pictures i do have on hand, and if it helps you guys, i can post up more of the verified pair later.

thank you very much for the reply! is the stitching on the heel for the blue wave more of nike's notorious QC than it being a red flag? I only ask because on my verified pair, the stitching is more uniform in both shoes. Last one, is the texture of the blue wave something that can vary again because of nike's notorious QC? the 7.5 has much more smoother, almost leather like material versus the verified pair that looks and feels more of a felt material instead of it being smooth

Again I don't see anything to worry about, not on mentioned parts either.
The only thing I can think of is are they different retros (from different release years) ? Not even sure if they released multiple times tho.

they did not, only once last year! and i truly appreciate the feedback, makes me feel much better about them and i now have an actual pair to study, thank you!
