I keep hearing about non-see-through sole (real) vs see-through sole (fake), and the quality of carbon fiber on the bottom. How can I spot a fake pair of Concords? Inside tag and size label on box?

Both of those are legit.

What you're talking about is the toe cap. The part of the icey outsole that comes up at the toebox and meets the patent leather. On VERY early release pairs, they were totally clear (transparent). Later early releases, and then finally retail pairs had a milky blueish translucent outsoles, and in-turn milky blueish translucent toecaps.

Those are legit.

Transparent toe caps are early release pairs but not necessarily fake.

Fakes have more obvious signs of inconsistencies compared to those.
