Picked these up within the last couple weeks thanks to the advise of many NT 11 experts and finally both arrived. Just want to make sure I didn't receive fakes even tho the pre-purchase check was authentic. The bred is a little iffy because the seller said he toss the cover and the shoe tree. The nylon liner on the bred feels rough almost like when you run your hand across those microfiber towel And feels like they are burn marks from wearing ankle brace. Has anyone with retro 11 experience anything like it?
I pulled the insole from the bred because previous owner was obvious a smoker. Washed the insole and put cider blocks in the shoe to hopefully get rid of the smell.
